"We Are Too Busy" | Edward M. Hendricks Jr, Senior Pastor

We live in a society today that promotes everything besides Gods Word and the responsibility of the church (believers). The struggle is not with their belief it’s with their obedience to follow. A believer is required to die daily unto themselves and pick up their cross and follow. We’re so busy that our normal day to day activities consist mainly of doing what’s thought to be best for us. We have a need to follow the directions of Gods guidance daily. But we’re taught now to follow one another and the more followers the better you are, and it defines the worth of individuals.

When God has defined each of us by creating in the likeness and image of Himself. God deposited a hidden gem in each of us that so many haven’t given a chance to shine outwardly. It’s time to go back to the origin of peace and harmony. And the only answer is obedience to the Word of God. Taking the time to address the problem of self-reliance and walking out the content of Matthew 6:33 “seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. We got to as believers (the church) represent the Biblical principles in all our actions and day to day lives. The ultimate start is within us to obey the Word. Making it applicable to our lives in a way that our faith is demonstrated in the works we engage in daily. God bless and keep you.
